This is truly a small-batch, locally crafted product. The Douglas Fir and Western Red Cedar oils are cold-pressed from trees harvested right on our founders’ property in Sooke, BC — you can’t get more west coast than that. The base is MCT oil, which absorbs beautifully without greasiness and provides an excellent massage medium. We’ve blended in vanilla, sage, and cinnamon to complement the forest oils, creating a warm, grounding scent profile that’s sophisticated yet unmistakably natural. You’ll also notice there’s no seaweed in this formulation — that’s intentional. Seaweed doesn’t grow in winter, so this became our seasonal offering that captures the forest side of our coastal home while the sea rests.
